Is Little Ocean free?
Yes. The core timer, daily tasks, routines, basic history and starter ocean are free. Plus is an optional subscription for extra planning tools, insights, habitats and soundscapes. Compare Free and Plus.
Do I lose creatures if I stop focusing?
No. Ending a session never removes companions you’ve already earned. Completed sessions earn virtual shells to welcome more creatures when you’re ready.
What does Plus include?
Pause and resume, a seven-day routine planner, seven- and thirty-day insights, three habitats with day and evening settings, and additional soundscapes. Active Plus also includes future habitats and soundscapes added to the Plus catalog, with no promised release schedule.
Do I need an account?
No account is needed for the core tools or to purchase, restore or use Plus. Optional Sign in with Apple opens a separate account ocean for cloud sync and private invitation-only focus rooms.
Does focusing help the real ocean?
Not yet. Our conservation partnership and reserve policy are still in development. Shells and creatures are virtual; no real-world contribution or cleanup is claimed. Read our conservation plans.
